A Brief Story of Soap:

Aleppo soap is regarded as the forefather of handmade soaps. It has been produced in Aleppo, Syria, since at least the 8th century. The warm subtropical climate of Aleppo is ideal for growing olive and laurel trees, which became the basis for their traditional handmade soap.

During the Crusades, Aleppo soap was introduced to Europe, where it became the foundation for other soaps like Castile and Marseille soap.

Ingredients Description:

This product is made with 12% laurel oil and 88% extra virgin olive oil. Olive oil, renowned since ancient Greece and Rome, is rich in squalene, which provides deep moisture and gentle cleansing, locking in the skin’s hydration, softening the skin, and preventing dryness. Laurel oil is traditionally used for its calming properties and helps restore hair’s shine while emitting a pleasant herbal fragrance.

Aleppo soap traditionally comes in various laurel oil ratios to meet different skin needs. The higher the laurel oil content, the stronger the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, but it also tends to feel drier on the skin. This product, with 12% laurel oil, is suitable for dry and sensitive skin, helping to reduce skin irritation and soothe discomfort in sensitive skin.
